The Health Zero initiative is back in action this October 31.

It’s back to another year of care for the most vulnerable populations of the Mengong district. On October 31, the people of Mboabang II and surrounding villages will welcome the return of the Health Zero initiative.

As a reminder, the Santé Zéro initiative is a program set up by The Belinga Foundation to bring professional healthcare at reduced cost to people right on their doorstep.
Pending the effective return of activities scheduled for October 31, 2023, it’s time to evaluate the first edition and make the final adjustments.

A brief review of last year’s event.

For its first edition, the Zero Health initiative, which began on February 6, 2023, succeeded in treating some 600 people during 5 visits to the villages of, Nneùeypng III, Loum, Nnemeyong I, Mvi’i and Nkoleteto
In an unprecedented move, the raids combined traditional and conventional medicine.

Preparations.

With less than 3 weeks to go before the first raid, the entire Health department team has been reinforced and is hard at work. The aim is to strengthen the technical platform, replenish the stock of medicines and improve the quality of data.
