One of the great features of the #Biasomengong2022 festival is to have achieved the rare feat of making each day a special day for festival-goers. It’s hard to get bored, hard to get bored when you have a different, quality attraction every day.
As the countdown clock ticks down to D-3, it’s time for the glory of traditional Bulu cuisine and wine tradition. It is the day of the great competition of culinary arts and the best winemakers.
It is the moment to rediscover the Nnam olis, the Onganven, the kpem zon, the mbom kpzem, the mendim me zong and the other delicacies whose taste had long been forgotten, before going to bring it all down with a big glass of palm wine.
The dexterity and know-how of the competitors will not make the task of the jury easier, as they will only manage to choose five winners per category after more than an hour of deliberation.
They will still be debating when night falls and the first artists take the podium for the musical attractions that close each day of the festival.
