The Belinga Foundation hosted another edition of its traditional Journey To Africa Gala, an event that drew over 250 attendees from various countries, including Cameroon, France, Switzerland, and the United States.
The United States, the host country, was represented by guests from Arkansas, California, Washington, Rhode Island, Georgia, Illinois, and Missouri.
The evening was a grand immersion in African culture, allowing guests to discover the rich African heritage through traditional dances, authentic African cuisine, and captivating presentations. Participants learned more about the foundation's initiatives in Africa and met the people driving its mission.
It was a joyous occasion at every turn. Newcomers were amazed, while repeat attendees congratulated themselves on choosing to return.
The foundation's promoter, Pr Steve-Félix Belinga, took the opportunity to introduce the expanded board of directors. Joining the existing members, Stéphane Ebale, Dania Ebongue, the Pr Steve-Félix Belinga himself, and Hervé Azemtsa Fofack, were Marty Baculi, Pierre Harry Simon Belinga Ndongo, Yvonne Contreras, Cynthia Lydie-Flore Belinga Bedjeme, Kim Rucker, and Dr. Agnès Valerie Kwo.
Attendees were impressed by the quality of the speakers, the content of the presentations, and the diversity of the projects showcased. Several partner NGOs participated in the event, with some announcing their intention to become more involved in The Belinga Foundation's activities in the future.
On the communication front, several media outlets were present, motivated to spread the foundation's message further through their coverage.
"This is a great success for The Belinga Foundation," declared Pr. Steve-Félix Belinga, the foundation's promoter, adding, "We are thrilled to see the positive impact of the event and the foundation on the community. We look forward to seeing the progress the foundation will make in the months and years to come."
The Belinga Foundation is, therefore, a comprehensive project whose guiding principle remains the pooling of energies to improve the living conditions of the most needy
