About Us
Who We Are
The Belinga Foundation began 25 years ago, as an idea: Let’s Change The World. It changed over the course of twenty-some years to become the current concept: Sustainable Rural Durable Development, via multiplying factors of Time, Human, Effort.
The five pillars of its mission are: Art, Culture, Health, Education, Sustainable Development. Those are some of the most important substrates of any civilization. Working with local partners, government and elected officials, traditional authorities is key to the success of our vision, because besides time, human effort is the greatest multiplying factor.
The dream became a reality in 2018. Based in the USA, the foundation operates both in the United States and across Africa, supported by over 100 volunteers, and has positively impacted more than 5 million lives.

Our Vision
Our Vision is embodied in the five pillars of our action:
Art
We support local artists by creating opportunities for them to showcase their talents and earn a sustainable living,
celebrating creativity as a vital force in community identity.
Culture
Our initiatives honor and uplift cultural heritage through meaningful celebrations and programs that preserve and promote
the richness of our traditions.
Health
We pioneer innovative healthcare in villages by blending modern medicine with the time-tested wisdom of traditional
herbal practices, ensuring accessible and holistic well-being.
Education
Believing that today’s students are tomorrow’s teachers, we promote academic excellence and leadership development
to shape future changemakers from within our communities.
Sustainable Development We champion sustainable development by advancing agriculture and the interconnected web of economic activities it supports—both vertically and horizontally—for lasting impact.
Our Strength
OUR TEAM IS YOUNG AND DYNAMIC… The staff of the foundation is made up of young leaders, from the local areas where we have begun our work. They are hardworking, and have many a times, proven their worth in various associations, charitable organisations, but also in management. They also lead by example, and are very willing to teach others.
