This October 2025, the residents of the Fale I group received a long-awaited visit from The Belinga Foundation medical team, as part of the Zero Health campaign, an initiative bringing primary health care closer to marginalized rural areas.
At 08h12, the convoy of the Foundation made its entrance to the third-degree chieftaincy of Nyengue, welcomed by villagers already many awaiting the consultation.
Thanks to the multiple awareness sessions conducted upstream, patients had moved early, demonstrating the growing interest of the program.
After a brief protocol greeting to His Majesty Eboto Blanchard, head of Nyengue village, the activities began in a warm atmosphere and imprint of solidarity.
The day was punctured by a coffee break offered by the chef himself, a token of appreciation to the medical team and volunteers of The Belinga Foundation.
Consultations continued relentlessly until 4 p.m., the official closing time of this stage.
An encouraging check-in, 24 patients from five villages — Nkolowon, Nkolebengue, Atoui, Endam II and Nyengue — have received free care. Among them there are 6 cases treated in dental care and 14 patients in ophthalmological consultations.
A significant result that illustrates The Belinga Foundation’s consistent commitment to accessible health for all, especially in the most remote communities.
The session ended with a coordination meeting in view of the next descent, followed by a family photo capturing the passing of the medical caravan in this peaceful corner of the Fale I group. Heading to the next step.
On behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA), the team leaders have extended their thanks to all participants, before wishing everyone a safe return.
The next descent already looks promising, with the ambition to touch even more villages and expand the range of care offered.
