On October 29, 2025, the second stage of the Sikolo ane mfi initiative, sponsored by The Belinga Foundation, took place at the Mengong Bilingual School Complex in a lively and educational atmosphere.
This edition highlighted a major interschool football tournament, a moment of excitement and unity among local institutions.
A Competitive Tournament, a Symbol of Unity and Determination.
The tournament, held the day before on October 28, 2025, at the Cocam Stadium, brought together both boys’ and girls’ teams from the primary schools of Mengong and Abiété Yekombo.

- Mengong Bilingual Public School 0 – 5 Abiété Yekombo Public School
- Mengong Group 1 Public School 0 – 1 Mengong Group 2 Public School
In the final match, Abiété Yekombo Public School defeated Mengong Group 2 Public School by 5–3, earning the championship trophy for this edition.

- Mengong Group 2 Public School 4 – 3 Abiété Yekombo Public School
The girls’ final crowned Mengong Group 1 Public School, after a remarkable performance throughout the competition.
Strong Mobilization from Schools and Local Authorities.
The day’s activities began as early as 7 a.m., with the transportation and installation of school delegations. Administrative and educational authorities attended the event to encourage the young participants and commend The Belinga Foundation for its continuous efforts to promote education, sports, and culture in primary schools.
In total, eight out of nine schools took part in the event: the Mengong Francophone Nursery School, Mengong Bilingual Nursery School, Ngomessan, and Mekamemvom nursery schools, along with the Mengong Group 1 and Group 2 Public Primary Schools, Mengong Bilingual Primary School, and Abiété Yekombo Public Primary School.

By fostering healthy competition and collective participation, Sikolo ane mfi continues to embody The Belinga Foundation’s educational and civic vision.
