On October 25, 2025, The Belinga Foundation's team was in the Atoui village for its now traditional "Evening in The Village".
The evening began at 7 pm under a gentle rain, a sign of the ancestors' blessing. This was followed by a short prayer and the singing of Cameroon's national anthem.
The village's elders and patriarchs shared words of wisdom on kindness, respect, natural inequalities, patience, and brotherhood with a large and enthusiastic audience.
The village women then showcased their skills with welcoming songs and joyful melodies, followed by a visit to the gastronomic stands featuring local delicacies.
The foundation's representatives congratulated the host village and presented symbolic prizes to the participants, while inviting the villagers to the upcoming Bia So Mengong festival, which will focus on the theme of Back to our Roots.
They also spoke about the Santé Zéro initiative, The Belinga Foundation's unique approach to bringing healthcare closer to those in need.
His Majesty NDAMBA, the village chief, praised the foundation and encouraged the population to support its initiatives.
The village chief of Atoui,His Majesty NNA ZE Martin expressed his gratitude to the population, the foundation, and Professor Steve-Felix BELINGA for the initiative. He reiterated his unwavering support for the foundation and all its activities.
The evening was a moment of conviviality and sharing, which strengthened the bonds between the villagers and the foundation.
