The night of March 16, 2025, will be remembered as a special moment for the Yembong people gathered in Ban-Hop, who benefited from the delights of The Belinga Foundation's "Night in the Village" initiative.
This initiative, now a ritual, has contributed to promoting culture and strengthening community unity among the Yembong villages, specifically Ndeng, Loum, and Ban-Hop.
Under the guidance of The Belinga Foundation's regional representative and the majesties of the concerned villages, the evening took place in a warm and convivial atmosphere.
Participants had the opportunity to share moments of joy and cultural discoveries around the fire, enthusiastically participating in various activities on the program. Dances, songs, games, stories, hunting prowess, and ancestral cuisine were all showcased to make the gathering unique.
The occasion was also taken to invite the population to join the Bia So Mengong festival, which will take place soon and has the particularity of aiming for international recognition this year.
The Belinga Foundation continues to demonstrate its commitment to promoting culture and preserving community heritage. Through initiatives like "Night in the Village," the foundation contributes to strengthening ties between communities and valuing local traditions and customs.
