As part of its ZERO HEALTH intiative, the BELINGA FOUNDATION deployed
to the village
of MA’ANMEYINE on December 27, 2024. This actions came as a scope of light in a lives
of many families of this countryside where having a health assistance is always a great
challenge.
The arrival of the team occured at 8.30 AM and they were welcomed by the
village’s
first Elder BITYE ENGOZO’O GEORGES. Many patients came from the MINKOK, NTOMBA,
ATO’OVENG I II, NGOULESSAMANE,
and MBO’ABANG villages, despite the various
ceremonies taking place.
This mobilization showed the villagers’ interest in the BELINGA FOUNDATION’s
initiative.
A reception organized and prepared by Professor ZAMBO BELINGA Joseph Mari
and Elder BITYE ENGOZO’O
Georges also demonstrated the progressive involvement of
elite members.
For the occasion, the ATO’OVENG traditional chef was represented by
Mr. TOGOLO
MENDOUA.The team was satisfied by the mobilization and the welcome words from
traditional authorities.
Statistically, 44 patients were recorded, including 12 in ophthalmological
care and 8 in
dental care. With time, the « Santé Zéro » initiative is gaining momentum.
The wish remains that more and more people adopt this initiative,
so that eventually,
the BELINGA FOUNDATION becomes just one of the contributors in the future.
