THE BELINGA FOUNDATION organized the traditional Journey To Africa Gala in the booming city of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

A beautiful evening of Art and Culture that attracted more than 250 people from various countries, including CAMEROON, SWITZERLAND, FRANCE, and US states such as ARKANSAS, CALIFORNIA, WASHINGTON, RHODE ISLAND, GEORGIA, ILLINOIS, MISSOURI; as well as numerous partner NGOs.

This event is a highlight of African cultural immensity, allowing guests to discover the richness of African culture through dance, traditional African cuisine, and captivating presentations.

Attendees learned more about the Foundation’s initiatives in Africa, and met the people behind this great initiative. The atmosphere was euphoric, with newcomers marvelling at the achievements already made by the Foundation ; while old members congratulated each other on their perseverance and endurance in the work.

During the meeting, the Foundation took the opportunity to introduce the six (6) new members of its Board of Directors.

The Journey To Africa Gala was more than just an event to support quality programs and activities for the youth in Fort Smith and its neighboring communities. It was a chance to immerse in the rich African culture through dance, cuisine, and captivating presentations.

The event most importantly, provided a unique opportunity to gain deeper insight into the Belinga Foundation's initiatives in Africa and engage with the people driving its mission.
