The Association of Girls and Women of Biwong-Bane (AFFBY) organized a practical and theoretical training on the theme “Empowering the young mother” in Biwong-bane, with the key support of The Belinga Foundation.
The initiative, which brought together many young mothers, aimed at strengthening their capabilities to make them more self-reliant and responsible.

Over two days of workshops, participants were equipped with practical skills such as making liquid and solid soap, baking (cakes, croquettes, puffed donuts) and smoking fish.
These apprenticeships have been incorporated into a more comprehensive framework of civic education, entrepreneurship and agriculture.

The presence of The Belinga Foundation, represented by a team led by Mfou’ou Samba Joseph, illustrates once again the foundation’s commitment to its priorities which are education, health and empowerment in rural communities.
Through this partnership with AFFBY, the foundation has not only supported the material and logistical organization of the training, but it has also provided a strong moral bond to the cause of vulnerable young girls mothers.

By associating its actions with the agenda “Supporting and valuing vulnerable young mothers of Biwong-Bane locality”, The Belinga Foundation confirms its vision: positively changing the lives of local people through education, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
