The Belinga Foundation’s Sikolo ane mfi initiative brought together seven schools in Nko’ovos II to promote excellence through sports, culture, and learning — reaffirming education as a pillar of community growth.

The Nko’ovos II School Complex was filled with excitement on November 11, 2025, as the fourth edition of Sikolo ane mfi unfolded under the banner of The Belinga Foundation. The event aims to foster academic excellence through sports, arts, and cultural exchange among local schools.

Seven nursery and primary schools joined the celebration. In the sports category, EP Ke’eke triumphed 2–1 over EP Nko’ovos II in the girls’ final, before the host school avenged the loss in the boys’ final with a 3–2 victory.

The day began with the national anthem, led by the local brass band, and featured vibrant cultural and intellectual activities. The Inclusive Nursery School of Ekouk opened with a captivating performance, while EP Nnemeyong 1 emerged victorious in the Inter-school Quiz Contest.

Outstanding pupils and schools received awards, certificates, and branded T-shirts from The Belinga Foundation.

In his closing remarks, the Inspector commended “the strong synergy between schools and the Foundation’s commitment to quality education.”

A friendly buffet concluded the event, uniting teachers, learners, and parents in a joyful atmosphere. Beyond a learning initiative, Sikolo ane mfi has become a true community movement, where education serves as a bridge between generations and a foundation for a shared future.
