THE BELINGA FOUNDATION AND AFFBY CLOSER TO THE elders.

On December 7, 2024, a team from THE BELINGA FOUNDATION carried out a social assistance mission in the BIWONG-BANÉ district, participating in the donation ceremony organized by the AFFBY (Association of Girls and Women of BIWONG-BANE).

The team from THE BELINGA FOUNDATION, a partner of AFFBY, was led by Mr. MFOU’OU SAMBA.In his speech, Mr. MBA OWONO, First Deputy Mayor of BIWONG-BANE, welcomed the assistance and the personalities present and praised the strong participation of THE BELINGA FOUNDATION, whose financial contribution covered over 90% of the necessary funds for the success of the event. Filled with joy and gratitude, the Deputy Mayor asked for further meetings with the foundation for future activities.To the elderly, the Deputy Mayor asked to pray constantly for the promoter of the event and President of AFFBY, Mrs. ESSENG URSULE NADEGE.The population was invited to remain focused and united in similar initiatives for a better Cameroon.In her speech, Mrs. Ursule Esseng recalled the purpose of the event, which aims at supporting the elderly by providing them with moral support and physical comfort.

According to her, it is not just a formality, but a shared commitment to support this social group through collective efforts. It is therefore a question of marking this meeting with the seal of solidarity and fraternity between the populations of the BIWONG-BANE district, thanks to the contribution of the entire elite.She thanked THE BELINGA FOUNDATION for its support, which had made it possible to consolidate the ideal of the Union.

The slogan of this year’s event reflected this well: « THE BELINGA FOUNDATION and affby, together offering smiles, health, and dignity to the elderly in the biwong-bane community ».The President’s speech, as well as the ceremony, ended with a wish for a happy end of the year to the entire community and the hope that the future would be better.
